Chandigarh’s Department of Forests & Wildlife organized a “Wildlife Walkathon,” inaugurated by Adviser Sh. Dharam Pal and attended by officials and the public. The 10 km trek through hilly terrain saw around 1800 participants, including school children, the general public, and the media. The event also collaborated with the Chandigarh State AIDS Control Society to raise HIV/AIDS awareness among youth.
